this is interesting point: will Biden be able to get under Trump's skin in way other candidates might not?
-
-
-
Kinda think he did when Trump doubled down on Charlottesville in response to Biden's launch video.
-
Doubled down on what?? You people haven't even watched the entire press conference or read the transcripts. Right before the both sides comment Trump specifically says he's not talking about the "nazis and white nationalists and they should be condemned totally". Fact!!!
-
Nah. He likes Nazis and thinks they're very fine people.
-
You Trumpers are not getting the point. Biden released a video, and it got Trump to defend his comments. Well played by Biden.

Robert E. Lee was a traitor to his country who fought to maintain white supremacy and slavery. He lost, and then said, we all need to come together, and there should be no statues of me or other leaders. Look. It. Up.
-
get a life dude. This shit is lame. Nobody buying it. Let's see something original. Y'all played all her cards at once.

We don’t usually celebrate the “great generals” of our enemies.
-
Or traitors -- hence no "Benedict Arnold's birthday."

Robert E. Lee said on numerous occasions not to put up monuments to him or "the cause." So dumb hick conservatives aren't even honoring him by killing to keep his monuments. The best and most appropriate RE Lee monument is the giant 50 foot high Virginia memorial at Gettysburg
-
The majority of these monuments were erected in the early part of the 20th century and were mass produced for groups wanted to remind African Americans of their place in Southern society at the time. They exist for purely racist reasons.https://qz.com/1054062/statues-of-confederate-soldiers-across-the-south-were-cheaply-mass-produced-in-the-north/ …
-
Oh yeah, the only sensible Confederate monuments are on actual battlefields. Some of the "monuments" I've seen down south - like this enormous garish monument to Nathan Bedford Forrest - in a park in a black neighborhood - are despicable.
-
It's funny how they celebrate a war that they lost, which was about them being assholes to African Americans and the Union. Gotta remember that L
-
It's because dumb white southern conservatives are always trying to portray themselves as "true victims" - hence the "Lost Cause" mythos. You can even see that today with the BS about "100 smirking MAGA hat teens were 'victims' of four angry black guys ridiculing them."
-
The south was Democrats and the north was Republican. Democrats then like today want people of color under their thumb. Why else welfare checks and food stamps. The more people of color get the more the Dems can control them.
-
You don't know history sir. The parties switched in the mid 60s, crack a text book or do some research. And most of the people on welfare are white people. Did you have any facts, or just propaganda?

Wrong Trump specifically said he was not talking about neo-Nazis and white supremacists. Direct quote from transcript: "I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists. They should be condemned totally."
-
He defended Robert E. Lee, who was fighting to maintain white supremacy and slavery. Rebelled against this country, and his oath, to defend slavery. Do some reading.
-
He said Robert E. Lee was a good general. One can be a good general and fight for the wrong thing.
