Since January, scores of Nigerians have been killed in attacks linked to herdsmen. Over the weekend, herdsmen reportedly killed no fewer than 120 persons across some villages in Plateau State. When will these senseless killings end?

Level of government penetration in rural Nigeria is generally weak. North central is the country's soft underbelly. Local government has been destroyed in this country and unfortunately nothing has replaced it Hence this crisis that will keep escalating until a solution is found

If a Governor of a state can’t take charge of situation happening around the state as Grand commander... why is he the Governor then.. Why vote him as your GCON. Any small thing Buhari, Buhari. Let’s be realistic . Why do we have A State Governor who can’t act 🤷🏽‍♂️

Taraba, Zamfara, Kaduna, Benue and now Plateau. These killings are spreading like wildfire. Government needs to act like a government not some type of condolence house.

Nigeria cannot be saved unless we cleanse ourselves of that ounce of hatred. You think you're clean? Nahh, look again, look beneath that flesh called your heart and hear yourself when you speak. Then you'll realize it. Thank you for reading & reaching this point😊. God help us.

This is getting long so I'll cut it short but the Hausa man is not responsible! Neither is the Igbo nor Yoruba! It's time to start pointing our fingers in the right places; at ourselves. Unless, we do not do that then God save us.

Although, my family was not bothered about religion or culture. I remember growing up & feeling like the North was a world of itself and so was the South & East due to the environment. As if, we are not from the country & that is the world we were all bred into.

It's not on GEJ not Buhari but me, myself & I. Each and every single one of us is responsible. From birth we draw a clear distinction between Muslims, and Christians. We draw a line between Aboki, & nyamiri. "We are of different ethnicities."

If a nation is crumbling then the people are also to blame because the people are in charge of the officials. WE ARE TO BLAME. The fault is not on Musa. The fault is not on Nnamdi neither is it on Femi. But rather it is on us! You and I, there is no other.

We keep blaming our leaders for corruption & for the killing but are we not the ones who bred these individuals into society? Didn't they live and grow up amongst our society?

We're always screaming change but we're never willing to accept it or the consequences it bears. We blamed GEJ & now we're blaming Buhari. We blamed SAS for Book Haram. Some of these accusations are not entirely false but we the people also have a responsibility.

Now, the point I'm trying to make here is that when we Nigerians are confronted with the truth & reality of what is happening around us, we get angry, we'd rather not hear it because it is easier to point hands at the govt.

Before I returned the book to my instructor (I borrowed it), I remember staring at the book and asking myself "Am I angry because this book has stereotypes about the North OR Am I annoyed because it is reality & it's real?" Obviously, I had to answer one way or another.
