    I was going to just be sarcastic, but let's answer this in earnest. The short version is: because "a specific regulation of a specific thing under specific circumstances" is never the same as "a broad regulation of a broad category of things under broad circumstances". 1/

    If the Fairness Doctrine, applying to broadcast, was constitutional, why would a new Fairness Doctrine, applying more broadly, be a violation of that same Constitution?

    It's hella crazy, Mike.

    The are exploring the idea of Josh McCown as head coach but would surround him with at least one former head coach on the staff. Again, not as crazy as it might seem to go from player to head coach. And if anybody can do it, McCown can.

    Oh, I see. So really, the new X-Box Gold pricing is just forcing everyone to either sign up for Game Pass Ultimate or pay basically the same price if they want to continue going Gold only.

    Whenever I see people moan about white guilt, I find it so odious that a person can walk around unashamed of our country's long history of hatred. I was born in 1974. Then and afterwards, black people could not celebrate their accomplishments without risking violence.

    This old quote from Hank Aaron in The NY Times obituary just left me speechless. I had not seen this before.

    While I agree with this, I think it's disingenuous to keep saying "Democrats." There are some pretty red democrats, especially Joe Manchin, that have already put their foot down on this. But the left keeps acting like it's "the Democrats" hanging on to the filibuster.

    if democrats got rid of the filibuster today they would have to get through exactly one (1) fake outrage news cycle from the right and then have two years to make peoples lives better before the next election

    I use KN95s if I go to the store or anywhere I'm going to be inside around other people for longer than a few minutes. I don't do that often. But when I do, I use a KN95.

    And yeah, this answer makes sense. But he could have held out for a trade and signed with THAT team. Would have been totally justified, even then.

    Because he had a chance to lock down $73M and avoid the type of injury risk that happened a few weeks later to Dak? Honestly, this is a really dumb question. Would you roll the dice on potentially missing out on that kind of generational wealth?

    I love Watson, and I absolutely think he has the right to ask for a trade given the clown show we've become. But... This is a real question. I was shocked he was just re-signing with us AFTER all those awful trades.

    Question re Deshaun Watson that I haven't seen asked/answered: Why did he sign an extension with the Texans in September? What was so much better then? Bill O'Brien??
