Is there a chance to have Typescript WITHOUT Javascript? Typescript will never be a real language if it always falls back to js and follows its stupidity.

I run tsnode in production ... Which means I never touch or see JS (no build artifacts). the only drawback is a resource spike when launching. Not the perfect solution but pretty close and makes my repos significantly simpler.

I meant I really like ts and how it saves at least half of our butt comparing to js, BUT I’d like to see typescript evolves into a standalone, js overhead free language, where we dont need features like import type, because of the js underlying layer.
