    today's Daily SI cover is an excerpt from my book—the chapter about Piazza vs Clemens and the INCIDENT at the Subway Series. In the book the chapter's called "Fuck the Yankees, Pt 2" but...we changed it for the excerpt. !

    love this jenny lumet piece. not just the nuance and humor of her inner monologue, but the way it testifies to the real fear for poc that conversations about wokeness will remain awkward and uncomfortable but a flash in the pan, over too soon before the work is done.
