If you’re shooting “for real,” you have adrenaline just racing through your system, completely screwing up your aim. Plus you’re worried about getting shot yourself. So a Clint Eastwood-style “wing him in the leg” shot is a non-starter

Yea they changed it because "shoot to wound" makes sense and can't be discussed endlessly on Twitter. You see it a lot. The right gets to change the terms used and then get to control the discourse.
