Unless there are portions of the tape that somehow negate criminal intent, "I just want to find 11,780 votes" and his threats against Raffensperger and his counsel violate 52 U.S. Code § 20511. His best defense would be insanity.

The entire call is astonishing. The bullying, the threats, the insults, the credulous embrace of discredited conspiracy theories. Like a crime boss, Trump occasionally says that all he wants is the truth. But he doesn't -- he wants the win. It's pathetic.
Attention has understandably been focused exclusively on Trump. If I were Meadows and the Trump lawyers on that call, I would be very worried about my own potential criminal liability. The call suggests they are members of a conspiracy to violate election law and defraud the US.

This sounds like trump is trying to create his own KGB to get more voter data.

And how do YOU know what is in his heart? We the people want the evidence heard. Something no one dem or media seems to want to do . Maybe we should all hear it together.
Did you notice , he told he wants the "Truth" almost at the end. It is possible that by that time, his attorneys feared this might be seen as extortion, and suggested him to use that word?
