Both the mindset and rhetoric of "which side are you on?" is ultimately polarizing. It is the most oppressive of ideas, for it cuts out anything outside a binary of us vs. them. Evil moves through over-simplification.
Totally agree. It’s become impossible to have nuanced discussions about complex subjects now- mouths are open but ears and minds are closed. Why have the closed minded disrupters been given so much power?
They have taken it, because they see it as their right.
Yet all of their aggrieved energy serves to distract from any real discussion of problems and solutions. The polarization grows, the problems fester, solutions are stillborn.
