Sweet!
Yeah! I was surprised they hadn’t really been publicized and I had a couple people asking me so…
Are dates available yet?
I had them at one point but can’t seem to find them right now. It’ll be early May—basically around this time.
2018: May 9-17; 2019: May 1-9.
Thank you very much! <3
@mpirnat Is this real? Kind of an odd choice after Montreal and Portland...
@kicksopenminds Yep, direct from @brandon_rhodes at our user group last night. We’ve got a big new convention center & hotels.
@mpirnat @brandon_rhodes nothing like a PyCon I can drive to
@kicksopenminds Yeah I’m torn about commuting daily vs getting a hotel room downtown.
I have a (kinda urgent) question to the organizers of next year's PyCon, do you happen to know a good contact person (or are you involved)?
I would recommend reaching out to @ewa_jodlowska or @betswaliszewski.
Thanks, that worked! <3
You're welcome! Have a great day. :-)
@mpirnat Woo! Now you get some chances to show us coast-hugging types what we're missing ;)
@bitprophet Technically we’re coast-hugging too. ;-)
@mpirnat isn't it a shore, not a coast?
@bitprophet There was a branding effort awhile back to make us “America’s north coast” since we’ve got Canada across the lake.
