    First graders created and solved number problems. We used Google Slides and to let them show off the learning. Here are examples, steps and resources.

    Use a 1x1 table for students to type answers in your Google Doc. It makes it much easier to find their answer within your questions. Make one, then copy and paste it for each question.

    THOUGHT: If your PLC does not incorporate standards-based lesson planning, video analysis (team member or others), data analysis (qualitative/qualitative), and/or case studies are you truly acting as a PLC?

    As one of the final projects in our Challenge, students created PSA videos about the sturgeon population. Examples and a tutorial for apps we used are included.

    Here's a game design project we did in Mythology class. Students redesigned simple games using myths as a theme. Templates & other resources included.

    Here's a good exercise for board game designers: Play a game you know has a card or dice game reimplementation. Design the card or dice version in your head. Then check out the actual version and see how yours compares. Also works with mass market, jr, or 2p reimplementations.

    This school year I challenged teachers to GO BEYOND rather than back to normal. (That was before we realized this year would be such a rough one!) Teachers stuck with it, though. I documented some things we did here:

    Our HS principal and I met with at the end of 2021. We made a plan get back on track with a vision, after these two years of distractions. Our activity was well received & it led to similar activities at our K - 8 buildings.

    A1) "Engagement" from flashy tech is not sustainable. They tire of it quickly. Keep your focus and the students' focus on the learning that is possible (or amplified) because of the tech.
