does anyone know whether: - textsecure is vulnerable to stagefright - a textsecure patch would fix it - i should give up on technology yet

@jdunck@sarahjeong you can disable mms autoretrieve in default messenger but i don't see an option in textsecure
@bcrypt @jdunck @sarahjeong AFAIK, stagefright is only responsible for audio/video. We don't do any preprocessing for audio/video in TS.

@bcrypt@jdunck@sarahjeong But like I said, there are no details about the vulnerability. Maybe it's worse, or maybe it's all just hype.

@rsthau Well at some point the audio/video might have to play. On Android, stagefright is what does that.@bcrypt@jdunck@sarahjeong
