Just like summer, watermelon season isn't over yet! Fresh from the farm, today we are chopping up this sweet & tasty fruit as a special treat for our clients. Did you know that watermelon is excellent at helping to keep you hydrated since over 90% of the fruit is water?!

Heat Waaaave! It is important that we check in on our elderly family members & neighbors during intense days of heat. It is better to visit than call, since signs of heat illness may not be easy to detect over the phone. A friendly MOW volunteer can be of help! #summersafety

Did you know that in addition to our hot meals, we also provide cold meals for our clients who need them? These "lighter fare" meals still follow the same dietary requirements as our hot meals, and often feature homemade salads such as our tomato & cucumber salad pictured here!

Congresswoman Susan Wild joined us last Friday to deliver meals with our CEO, Vicki Coyle. It was great to spend some time with our state representative. Like many of our #MarchforMeals meal delivery guests, she expressed concern for our clients & appreciation for the volunteers.
