When you pray, focus your faith on God’s faithfulness to you, His power and ability to perform His Word, upon His unfailing record, and the infallibility of His Word.

As you wait for the answer to your prayers, do not waver or become discouraged.

When you pray, do not focus your eyes on the things you see with in the natural, the obstacles and the impossibilities you face. Focus your faith on God, believing and expecting that He will fulfill His Word and answer your prayer.

Jesus saw beyond the natural circumstances.

There is a vast difference between the type of faith the majority of professing Christians have today and the faith Jesus taught, faith that was able to move mountains, where nothing is impossible!

The type of faith we are talking about is one that is backed up by deeds and actions. Faith is a fact, but faith is an act!

Faith is not a natural function of our natural man. It is a supernatural life force given to us by God!

Faith is the evidence, the proof of the things we are unable to see with our natural eyes. It reveals to our spirits the reality of the things we are praying and believing God for, and enables us to take possession of them even before they are manifested to our natural senses.

Faith is the assurance, a firm persuasion and expectation that God will do all He has promised. When you pray in faith, you do not wonder or hope you will receive what you have asked from God. There is a deep inner knowing in your spirit that cannot be shaken.

When you pray, you must take hold of His promises by faith that is securely rooted and grounded upon the divine faithfulness of Almighty God.

To take hold of the prayer victories you need in the circumstances you face, you must begin to pray with your spiritual focus set and your faith firmly fixed upon a faithful God Who has bound Himself to you with His Word, and believe that He will answer your prayers.

Christ lived and operated in a powerful dimension of prayer, where His eyes were not focused upon the circumstances and situations in the natural world, but upon the invisible, eternal, Almighty God with Whom nothing is impossible!

Regardless of how long, how loud, or how fervent the prayer, there is no power behind it unless it is prayed in faith.

The miracle power of God was released into these impossible situations as He spoke, because He had won the victories first in prayer.

To the leper, Jesus spoke the prayer command of faith, “Be clean!” and immediately he was cleansed and made whole.

Through prayer, the power of God was released into His life and whatever He spoke came to pass. He spoke to the impossible circumstances in peoples’ lives and they were changed, healed, delivered, and set free!

Jesus did not pray a long drawn out prayer, begging and pleading with God to heal the sick and meet the needs of the people. He spent time alone with God in prayer, so that when He ministered to the people, He spoke the prayer command of faith and the work was accomplished.

Out among the people, Jesus did not pray for the sick. There is only one instance recorded where Jesus openly called upon the Father before healing someone.

Everything He did was a result of what the Father had revealed to Him while He was in His Presence in prayer and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus ministered to the needs of the people and fulfilled the work He had been called to do through the power of the Holy Spirit.
