@michaelmina_lab seems quite knowledgeable about rapid test strips and has said in the past that they should cost $1 or less to manufacture. In the USA do you have to also pay for a PCR to confirm? I'm in Scotland all Lateral flow tests given free in boxes of 10 at pharmacy schools etc u can request every week or just when needed. x

No, you can get PCR tests for free. If you can get an appointment and can get to the site.

I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland we get them free. We have a whole big box and take one every day and report our results to the NHS. (Voluntarily)

Yep I just got another box through the post yesterday. It’s crazy the price ppl are expected to pay in USA. Our nhs is in a bad way here, thanks Swann, but at least we don’t have to pay for tests.
