Do you have the data on 5-year survival rate in 1900 excluding death in childbirth or some short time after child birth? no matter what, a staggering stat.

I came across this doing family tree in Ancestry. Families MUCH bigger back then and death of children was not uncommon.

I am fascinated when visiting small, old cemeteries in our rural area. The number of parents who lost multiple children from unknown causes is unbelievable. And horrifying.
