People who’ve never tried writing like this have NO IDEA how easy it is to write convoluted crap and how difficult it is to write concise and clear. Making that concise and clear entertaining and relatable? Fuck off. Nobody human can really do it. I despise you Morgan (hugs).

I always feel that when I delete something I spent a lot of time writing is that I really was just thinking something through with myself. So ultimately it makes the other thoughts that you put on paper better.

I took screenwriting in college from Kevin Willmott (2019 Oscar winner.) His signature line in class was, “Be willing to kill your children.” Artists fall in love with their work like kids. But if parts don’t serve the vision, unapologetically trash it. The rest will shine.
