I ended up writing about how much the AI portrait generator s u c k s at painting poc! the portraits are supposed to emulate art from 15th century europe, but come on. artwork of poc existed then - the tumblr account medievalpoc is proof

it’s really interesting how the AI fills in the blanks for features that just aren’t in its data set, like replacing open smiles with closed lips, or flat, broad noses with pointed ones
(also it’s so funny that me posing with virgin jail is forever immortalized on mashable)
