        A lot of the ppl on medicaid are kids. Sick kids. SSI as the gateway program is important.

        I'm one of these people fighting tooth and nail to get on SSDI and now since my only child turned 18, the state of Utah demands I work 30 hours a week by Sept 30, or lose my Medicaid benefits. I'm terrified. I have literally no idea what I'm going to do. . .

        You know what is messed up. I was in a great program for people living with TBI. Crystal Lake & McHenry, IL. When Rauner was elected governor they closed the services to the program. It's dreadful because I moved to WI looking for care, then Rauner got voted out & I'm stuck.
