Today I had a MRI to assess my nerve damage.
On the subway home my BFF & I were verbally assaulted and threatened w/physical harm, and homophobic slurs. I'm #disabled but never felt helpless. No one in the car said a word.

what does someone do in this circumstance?
I survived 10 surgeries (5 spinal).
I fought kidney #cancer
I live w/#Lupus & #chronicillness & use a cane.
Being #disabled & threatened verbally w/violence in a confined space is terrifying.
Yesterday, I feared for my life & was the 1st time I thought I might die.
So sorry you were exposed to this ignorance and hate. None of us is immune to having it make us feel awful. Hope you can take some action, and don't forget how very many people support and admire you.
Sending big hugs to both of you. Focus on the love. You are amazing and they can’t tKe that away with their evilness. I swear if I ever witness such a thing I will go to the wrongly abused persons side and say ,”Can I sit with you, friend?”

My husband & I are so disturbed and infuriated at this. Please lmk if we can do anything. You did NOT deserve this, obvs. I had the same thing happen to me on a Pirates of the Caribbean boat this week at Disneyland, and @Disneyland has still NOT responded. No one spoke up.
And even after the ride, when I tried to get security, I had to convince the lead and security that I was spit on, threatened, harassed. @Disneyland still did hardly anything. I felt trapped and scared. I get it, love. Energy and power to you. Love to you.
I’m sorry that you have to experience the ugliness of others. I’m sorry that no one dare to stand up against the ugliness. I wish you won’t have to experience those kind of situations ever again. Remember there are people who admire your strength and look up to you as their idol
I've had the same happen to me and I'm straight. I just let it slide off my back. My friend says I'm like a duck. It just rolls off my back.
