does loading external gifs in GM:S not work? It seems to only load the first frame of the animation...

i really recommend doing a add from spritesheet though, its been a great workflow for me

yeah seems like that's the only way it'll work for me, shame as I usually work with animated gifs for sprites

tried 0 and also the number of frames in the animation, neither worked. Seems like you have to put it into a strip :(
