I might have bought @moppin_ ‘s excellent #Downwell on all the platforms where it’s actually available and I just noticed today that you can wall-jump.

I like it. Every good game has some odd bits that don't fit in perfectly.
-
Turns out I use it quite a lot now. Useful to got stuff back or reach some torches in the shop.

As long as we're on the subject: is there some way to chain them I'm missing? There's so many things in the game that seem rechable only with a double wall jump
-
You can only wall jump when you're in the spin jump state, and wall jumping will put you in the normal jump state so it's difficult to chain them together. But stomping on enemies will put you in the spin state, so it's possible to do something like wall jump > stomp > wall jump

it was meant to be a surprise hidden technique / homage to the wall jump in Super Metroid, but it’s too useful to be so hidden and too hard to discover and often occurs when you didn’t intend it
