Genuinely cannot believe how basic VC Twitter is. All day long, VC bros explaining to each other in tiny words how money and markets work. It's like Fischer Price Wall Street. The lack of sophistication is incredibly weird.
I used to cover VC when it was run by actual grownups who had experience in the markets - the Robertson Stephens/Thomas Weisel/Richard Testa era - so watching all these millennial bros bumbling around w/money after they finish their daily pelotons is so .... like, what is this?

I cannot believe these guys control millions of dollars. I mean, that's true of most money workers, but seriously, these guys? It's chilling. They seem to awake to competitive market dynamics each morning with the eyes of newborn children.
And you may argue, "oh well, it's useful for founders," but have you met founders? They do their homework. They know all this. These VC bros just love the sounds of their own keyboards. And they still fund almost exclusively other bros.
