This is very true: From the beginning of eldercare and throughout, it's a grieving process -- grieving is not just in death. It goes on for years+ years in life whenever someone loses a part of their lives they had before. So that continues throughout caregiving and after death.pic.twitter.com/759GGyTLr6

I should note that the situation we find ourselves in right now does not involve dementia, but that dementia shows up often enough in these stories and in our lives that it is worth connecting to others here.
