@msnbc @cnn @Morning_Joe @maddow BOGIE: "There's our man! In the crowd. This photograph proves he was in NY prior to 1946. We've got him" Police chief: "How can you be so sure of the date?" BOGIE: "Easy. Look at the BILLBOARD in the top right hand corner. The WAR wasn't over yet"

@TheLastWord@thr Chief: "Brilliant!" BOGIE: "I'm just WARMING up. Notice the MARQUEES. '3 is a Family' opened in NY on 11-23-1944, right around Thanksgiving. But 'Hollywood Canteen' opened on 12-15-1944. So it's right before Christmas 1944. The Battle of the Bulge just started" -
@variety@Variety_Film@tomhanks@billmaher@hardball@allinwithchris@Lookmagazine@LIFE STUDS Terkel: "What? You got one of those COMPUTING machines like the WAR department?" BOGIE: "I'm like Sherlock Holmes. I see & I OBSERVE. That's how I earn my $25 bucks a day + expenses." -
@Playboy@esquire@newsweek@VanityFair@time@NewYorker@tpm Chief: "OK, so if's it's Christmas, how come nobody's carrying any packages?" STUDS Terkel (winking at Bogie): "Simple. They're on their way to the stores" BOGIE: "And you can't PROVE otherwise, now CAN you, Chief?" -
@jaketapper@ap@NBA BOGIE: "Remember, he told POLICE he came here after the war. He's CLEVER alright. But this PICTURE proves he was here all along. He's the MOLE the State Department has been desperately searching for. He's the NAZI spy code named TINKER Tailor. We've got him"
