I literally don’t understand the premise that activism is bad. Especially coming from someone that’s around entrepreneurs the whole time. They aren’t that different from one another. They both have a similar desire to effect change and choose different tools to do so.

Missing two points at once. One, salary wasn’t the primary focus of unionization. Two, $97k is below the poverty line for a family in SF and much of the Bay Area. You’d need to add a teacher’s salary to that to get a livable income in that area.

I like this as a pocket example of solidarity. Personally I’m a fan of people getting some of that sweet sweet self-determination in their work even if their median income is different from mine or they do jobs that are different from me. USA! USA! USA!

And another when they try to come off reasonable, but look like a bit like a belittling bully... so you check out their timeline and rapidly conclude that this person you never heard of before is out of touch with society and seeks to be perceived as powerful and important.
