I had a debate this morning at church about this. What do u think? I saw a cheating man tell his wife that he was out"spreading the word", not cheating. Is "taking in vain" the word itself, or using "Gods name" to advance selfish actions, like the cheater?

Granted, I'm not fond of foul language but I understand. Its not about how you say it but if what your saying is correct. Though I think it do better for you to limit the foul language but a lot of what you say is correct so I'm not gonna completely tell you to stop
