This is pretty sweet. I love the attitude, except for the blockstream reference in the end. Wish that was more "let them fade to irrelevance" rather than direct conflict.

On chain hedging contracts are infinitely better than stable coins which are a huge third party risk. You have to trust the issuer, their backing bank, and the government they operate under.

In the end, raw scaling (increasing magic numbers) of the base layer probably has the simplest and safest tradeoffs for scale.
Increasing the cost of entry (IBD, etc) and cost of self-validation is a fair tradeoff instead of increasing trust, is it not?

Obvious censorship and manipulation that is happening on almost all big social media is now verified to have happened on twitter too.
Question is - now that they report on it, did it stop? I think it changed to some degree, but it could just as well be placebo.
