IIRC this country only had like 9 years that weren't black history, so there's definitely not enough being taught. Jamestown was rapidly dying off and failing until slaves were brought in. It is entirely on their backs and with their blood that this country survived.

If we want to understand our nation & its history, we need ALL the voices, way beyond what’s traditionally taught. Whitewashed is grotesque; separate (white/black/Other history) unreal. It’s messy, intersectional, dynamic.

The division has always existed in it's purist form, racism. The rise of the black man in America is the cause for the great divide that now exists. Whites will not accept minorities as there equal. After a few more generations pass that divide will at last begin to narrow JOMO
