Been in SF for 2 hours and it’s heartbreaking. Streets lined with people keeled over, worse than ever. Drugs everywhere. I step into one store where a shoplifter gets caught and beats up a cashier until the police come.
Heading back to the airport.

I was there last week for 3 days. Home city. It has definitely been affected but these type of messages about SF seem quite exaggerated to me. This is not what I experienced when I drove all around the city for a few days.

Last thanksgiving, I stayed at a hotel in east bay area visiting my pops/siblings. It was off the highway. Never ever seen homeless before. Every time I went outside, there would be at least 1 approaching me for $. Probably a dozen over 3 days vs 0 a year earlier.
