    A long story on Afghanistan brought me to the U.S. Today, when I landed in Oklahoma I found that I was travelling on the same flight as one of the last Americans killed in America’s longest war. A reminder of the incomprehensible losses from this war to all sides.

    A year ago a lot of people pooh-poohed the idea that anyone would use COVID to do punitive and evil things. Yet here we are. Human nature hasn’t changed. Bad people have committed atrocities against other groups of people throughout history. We could see it again. In America.

    Biden needs to kick it up a notch - mandatory vaccination for airports, airline travelers. Get CEO's into WH to strongarm on vaccine mandates.
