I’m proud to share these 8(?!) new factsheets today.
My community is in desperate need of accurate and affirming representation. The power we have to change minds and to correct a history of stigmatizing misinformation can't be overstated.
It's vital that we get it right.

The massive oil spill off California's coast poured some 126,000 gallons of oil into coastal waters over the weekend, shutting down Huntington Beach and killing wildlife. It's a tragic reminder that offshore drilling is a devastating threat to our coast and its wildlife.

A general platitude in Western society is "be yourself."
But what happens when "being yourself" makes others uncomfortable? What happens when "being yourself" means *being* in direct opposition to the established norms and expectations placed upon you? What then?
