After some time like this, you delete all your friends one by one, until you have nothing left but a profile photo, which you also delete. Then you close your account.

Bored earlier, I considered that social media would be more satisfying if it worked in reverse. New Twitter accounts should force you to have 1000s of contacts, most of whom you disagree with. The number is slowly whittled down to real friends as you delete those you dislike.
