Happily just watched the 2017 box office bomb The Cure for Wellness by accident. A hugely flawed film but a wonderful feast of Lovecraftian horror with echoes of Brazil.

You’re bang on. Had so much potential. Could have been the film for our times though it speaks volumes that despite its many flaws it is still a decent film.
