But the descendants of those Victorians are like cockroaches scrambling in the ruins of a once great civilisation they no longer understand. The city halls are now temples to Bioleninist bureaucracy, the libraries now victim centres, the factories gone.

How does this end? Maybe it doesn’t. It’s infinitely worse than 100 or even 10 yrs ago, what’s to say it can’t get even worse beyond my imagination? Or will it just collapse, fall apart, die? In some ways it already has. It’s already like the dystopian bad future of a sci-fi show

And all I can recommend to any young white boy or girl living in this environment with ambition or talent is to leave; thus contributing further to the problem. But exit is the only option available. Exit is the only hope. Yet... those exits are becoming scarce.

I fear that one day everywhere will be like this. People sitting in their own filth, staring up at images of impossibly beautiful gods whose lives are incomprehensible, ruins of ancestral greatness decaying unnoticed in the background. We will have returned to our original state.
