I have been to Sweden once. It reminded me of the scene in HG Wells’ The Time Machine when the inventor goes to the far far future and it’s just an apocalyptic wasteland populated by giant crabs.

They are insane. I still remember some standout incidents from my time there. I visited the Vasa Museum - the one with the big ship that sank - and a young Swedish girl guided us around relating its history. All was good for a while.
