    As I read this article, the thought crossed my mind that this child is very close in age as my youngest child. It’s devastating the situation, for a parent not to be able to save its child. We need to use our voice to stand up.

    The heartbreaking photo of a father and his toddler daughter who drowned in the Rio Grande has deeply shocked all of us at UNHCR. It is unacceptable. Everyone has the right to seek asylum.
