Let's try to ease the burden on pain patients instead of making them jump through hoops of fire just to have any quality of life.
I've written software for medical devices. The rules are onerous, if you're lazy and lack discipline. I personally automated almost 75% of the documentation overhead. We have more at my current company, which is unregulated and non-government. No reason to lower the bar.
