I'm loth to waste good coffee on an experiment in adding this to it.

Don't. The flavour is oat with a clashing background of the savoury peppery fruit of the olive oil. The mouth-feel is the starchy paste of Ready Brek. The resemblance to cream is nearly zero.

Ivan Rogers has been talking about what happens after 31 January 2020. ‘Not a great deal will happen in the next few months, heading for the rocks by the summer and towards a major crisis in autumn 2020.’ Some key points from his interview with

The fishermen (and the rest of the UK) should read the Political Declaration. This is an agreed formal statement of intent between the UK and EU, not just fluff. It intentionally lacks specifics, but forms the foundations for the future agreed relationship.

Some historians talk about a "First" and "Second" British Empire, but why isn't the first one simply known as the "English Empire"? (/u/Tajerio examines the very important Scottish influence on the Empire.)

Sea levels aren't going to rise by 60 meters. The world won't be devoid of ice caps. We won't be living in a literal Mad Max scenario. There will be water shortages, sea level rises, flooding, stronger storms, wildfires and desertification caused by climate change.

The IPCC put out regular reports on the impacts of climate change. The next one is due out October 2021, the current one is here -- Those are consensus forecasts of what is most likely to happen. It's pretty awful already, and doesn't need embellishment.
