Elizabeth Warren's campaign clarifies she'll raise big-dollar money for the *party* if she becomes the nominee -- though not for her *campaign*https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/meet-the-press/blog/meet-press-blog-latest-news-analysis-data-driving-political-discussion-n988541/ncrd1064346#liveBlogHeader …

That distinction will probably quiet Democrats worried that she'll unilaterally disarm in the general against the Trump-RNC machine. Grassroots fundraising can make up eschewing those $2,800-per-person chicken-dinner fundraisers. Less so, though, with the $100K checks to party

But it does open her up to charges of hypocrisy. Why refuse to attend high-dollar fundraisers for your campaign, but gladly attend them for the party?

The fact that she had to clarify this, means the DNC is starting to wrap their minds around having her as the nominee. Which, I guess is a good thing.

Yeah, super awesome that we're being spoon fed a candidate who pays lip service to ending corruption in the party while embracing corruption in the party.pic.twitter.com/pjig9kBSxk

How is this the right call? She's trying to tell both sides what they want to hear, and ends up telling both sides what they don't want to hear instead.
