A lot has been said about all the languages @PeteButtigieg speaks, and he's certainly impressive. But what stood out during my years of friendship and work with Mayor Pete is his ability to listen. His is a long record of hiring smart women & listening to them - thanks Pete.
Expanding this to tell a little story about the '15 mayoral reelect: Mayor Pete asked his campaign team @dianefeldman, @jenpihlaja and me to use his TV spots to help @KareemahFowler win her bid as City Clerk. She was a first time candidate he was supporting and she won!
I’d like to see us hire a smart and experienced woman, like Warren, for President. Mayor Pete could be a good VP for her.
I think they'd make a strong ticket, but I think Buttigieg has a better shot at appealing to rust belt and Midwestern voters and disaffected Republicans. I'm not suggesting that's how it should be, or how it will be forever, but I do believe that's the way things look now.

Good point about his listening skills. I have been thinking to myself that what impresses me most about him is his use of the *English* language.

When I look at the field it isn't a split or radical party They are showing voters that there are core values and respect for different views There is a generation of voters who haven't seen informed debate and compromise it is exciting.

That's a huge endorsement. I don't believe that Trump has ever heard a woman speak in his life. (Well, maybe the ones he paid and/or paid off, yelling "Oh god, oh god, oh god," which really meant "Please god, get this fat orange buffoon off of me.")
