    these past few weeks have been like nothing I've ever experienced in the US. So when 's & asked me to talk about how it's felt to cover these massive protests against police brutality & racism it turned into a moment of reflection.

    The only thing that’s out of the ordinary about the Kabul strike is that there was an investigation. That’s rare, in my experience. Many cases the US doesn’t even acknowledge responsibility for the strike never mind the casualties.

    Hard to imagine how anyone could conclude no negligence was involved. Ten people, including seven children, were blown to pieces. They were no threat to anyone. They had no connection to ISIS. They were a normal family going about their lives. They were targeted and massacred.
