Where there’s a strong network effect there’s also a strong reverse effect. People underestimate how fragile Facebook is.

I don't get it. Are you picturing people leaving Facebook en masse like a bank run?
Kind of. FB’s utility comes from getting nearly everyone on board. People underestimate how small the amount of people have to leave to destroy most of FBs utility.
