If it is real estate: (1) What is building vertically (apartments, skyscrapers)? (2) What is building underground (basements, tunnels)?

Naturally, (1) would be reach (size of building) and public perception (popularity of building and share of mind - like famous buildings in the world) and (2) would be direct contacts and DMs (unseen "networking").

Lots of potential implications if this continues. For example, if you're a knowledge worker, you just went from competing with people willing to go through the hassle of relocating to an expensive hub to competing with anyone with Internet access. Interesting times.
