isn't this unrelated to this attribute? I see it anytime when there's a password attributed input. 
If an input element has the attribute value autocomplete="new-password", browsers can suggest securely-generated passwords. #til #til22

Support for the attribute is new in Firefox (starting with 70). It has been in Chrome for a while I guess?! It seems like Safari is doing its own thing independent from the attribute.
