      OS X 10.9.3 updaters, don't forget you can un-hide your /Users folder:http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/os-x-10.9.3-unhiding-your-users-directory …

      @davehamilton Called Apple about this, and was told it was intended behavior.

          .@mlaundrie I have no doubt Apple intended this. Like the ~/Library folder, there's usually little reason for folks to muck about in /Users

          @DaveHamilton @mlaundrie @donmcallister Odd that some still see /Users folder in 10.9.3 as reported by @theloop http://www.loopinsight.com/2014/05/16/in-os-x-10-9-3-many-users-experiencing-a-hidden-users-folder-heres-a-fix …

          @spsheridan @mlaundrie @donmcallister @theloop My guess is the folks who still see it already mucked with xattr previously.

          @DaveHamilton @mlaundrie @donmcallister @theloop Will an xattr change stick across OS X upgrades?

          @spsheridan @mlaundrie @donmcallister @theloop Yup. My ~/Library folder has always remained visible, even before they added the UI checkbox.

          Regarding /Users having been hidden in 10.9.3: “@mlaundrie: Called Apple about this, and was told it was intended behavior.”

          @DaveHamilton @mlaundrie I haven’t seen on my two systems so buggy if intended. And buggy if not. :)

          @tomfanderson @DaveHamilton just called by Apple, the change is caused by the iTunes update that came out at the same time

          @tomfanderson @mlaundrie @davehamilton It looks like it's tied to Find My Mac. Enable it (or if already enabled) and /Users vanishes.

          @rtrouton @mlaundrie @DaveHamilton Can confirm that enabling Find My Mac did cause /Users to be hidden on my iMac. Disabling did not unhide.
