    I was just reading Math Education Is STEM Education! by via and had one of those AHA moments, it's the same for Science. Science education is inherently STEM - It fits my STEAM = Inquiry + Integration definition

    I see it differently. The debate goes way back (see ’s articles.) It is not about what is “known”, or a straightforward arc of history. It is a battle about values, with decent arguments on all sides, which is best resolved by an intelligent eclecticism.
