    You could 100% cover a sporting contest - the entire reason the whole thing is happening - without interviews. And if interview access influences outcomes (because of who plays and who doesn’t), yeah you’re not doing journalism anymore. You’re entertainment media.

    There should be a consumer protection law that requires that any membership / subscription / premium anything that can be signed up for online must also be cancellable online not just in calling a number.
