WH breaks silence on why Emmet Flood attended briefings with lawmakers on FBI source. “Neither Chief Kelly nor Mr. Flood actually attended the meetings but did make brief remarks before the meetings started to relay the President’s desire for as much openness as possible”

Mark Warner: “Never seen a gang of eight meeting that included any presence from the White House. Those individuals left before the substance of it. Unusual times.”

Supreme Courts across the country are going to love the flood of motions by criminal defendants wanting the same "constitutional rights" as Trump.

Yes. Why not allow all defense attorneys full access to everything the prosecutor has?

I was a little sloppy with this post. I should have reviewed the intro to Law & Order & how in the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two seprate yet equally important groups.

But just to be clear, Emmet Flood now looks crooked as hell.

I've been a lawyer a long time. Just today wrote in a brief the importance of separation between Exec and Jud branches. Emmet was there because his client told him. If someone else did, that's a problem. If his client didn't, that could be a problem. Need a special counsel.

McConnell left without comment, apparently. Ol' Lindsey was "concerned" about the presence of Flood, but, you know, not enough to do anything about it.
