"I wouldn't describe it the way he described it," Cornyn on Trump saying there were spies implanted in his campaign. "Confidential informant? Spy? I guess he can use his own words."

GOP sens not defending Trump but won't criticize him over allegations. Cornyn told us it's key to learn "what the motivation of the FBI" was in pursuing its investigation. Lindsey Graham: "If there was a confidential informant, I'd like to know why -- maybe there's a good reason"

Dear John Cornyn and Lindsey Graham, It would be nice if, at some point before you die, you were to remember that you took an oath to 'protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.' Thanks. Signed, America

@LindseyGrahamSC @JohnCornyn let me make it easier 4 u. Trump campaign was not the initial reason 4 the surveillance, Russia was. When surveilling Russia, they found that the Trump campaign used Russia. That is the reason for the informant. Now do your freakin job! #ComplicitGOP

Like maybe the FBI warned them the Russians were trying to infiltrate their campaign and they subsequently scheduled meetings with Russians and didn't tell the FBI? Maybe a reason like that?

We already know from Mueller's indictments and House/Senate hearings: there were at least 3 *really big* good reasons. Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, and Paul Manafort, all of whom were compromised by Russian Intel. Are you kidding, @LindseyGrahamSC?

While they're at it, GOP senators could ask Trump what was his motivation for colluding with the Russians? But then, they already know the answer to that question.

Man overhears trump planning a crime. Man reports information to police. Police tell man to watch and listen and report any new information. Trump attacks man and police as spies.
