Sarah Sanders says meeting with Hill lawmakers will take place Thursday about confidential FBI source -- and NO Dems will be at the meeting. Nunes and Gowdy will meet with Wray, Coats and a senior DOJ official. No WH staff will attend.

Sanders says why would Democrats consider themselves "randomly invited" to a meeting when they haven't asked for info about FBI source. Schumer asked yesterday and today for Democrats to take part in meeting as well

Schumer: "This should be a fair process, it should be bipartisan. So for every Republican, at the table, there should be the Democratic counterpart." Sanders about an hour later: Dems haven't asked for that info, so why would they consisder themselves "randomly invited" to mtg?

Schiff told me yesterday that he expected to be part of the meeting on the FBI source. Asked if he would take part in that meeting, Schiff said: "I presume I am, but I don't know exactly what they have in mind."

The the Dems should just show up, push their way in, take seats and refuse to leave. @HouseDemocrats need to stop playing nice, following the rules, giving benefit of the doubt, trying to compromise, etc. This is a fight for our democracy, not a game of Chutes and Ladders.

I for one would love to see video of security guards trying to muscle them out.

This meeting shouldn’t be happening in the first place. DOJ and FBI work for us. Not the WH or Congress.

The corruption by the Republicans is right out there in plain sight. They're not even pretending not to be corrupt anymore, and they're not even pretending to be loyal to the Constitution, either.

.@mkraju Maybe someone needs to tell .@PressSec that some Americans have D's who represent them...and we are just as much part of this country, and entitled to be included in this government as Americans represented by R's!

It simply cannot happen without Democrats in the room to keep Nunes from misrepresenting the information publicly. Which he will, ably assisted by Gowdy.

Randomly invited? Whatever does that mean. They are having a secret meeting that no one can verify. Is that supposed to be a good thing? How can they have an investigation that is unilateral and expect it to be respected? A secret society? @PressSec
